----------- Public transport in London -----------------------

Visitors to London who intend to use buses and the Underground are advised
to buy an Oyster card if they intend to travel on Monday to Friday before
0930, and/or a travel card otherwise. Their journeys will be simpler,
cheaper, and faster. For full details, see www.tfl.gov.uk and follow links
to tickets and Oyster.

--- Extra SC22 plenary social event for spouses and partners ---

Roger and Pat Scowen have eight free guest tickets for Kew Gardens
available, and invite SC22 spouses/partners on Thursday 21 September -
meeting at Maids of Honour Cafe in Kew Road from about 10-30am to 11-15 for
morning coffee before visiting the Gardens. During the day we will also
visit the newly renovated Kew Palace (summer home of King George III).

If more than eight people want to come, preference will be given to foreign
visitors (Britons can come with us at some later date).

If you want to come, please tell Roger and Pat Scowen
([email protected]) before end of Tuesday 19 September (first come,
first served).
