Call for Papers

Members of the COBOL standards community (INCITS/J4 and ISO/IEC
JTC1/SC22/WG4) together with COBOL Expo 2003 would like to know what your
vision is for the COBOL language 5 years from now. There will be a workshop
on Wednesday June 25, 2003 at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV).

Special topics of interest include, but are not limited to, immediate needs
like XML and future ones like asynchronous processing and a macro/template
facility.

Papers must be sent by April 30, 2003 to [email protected].
Papers may be submitted electronically in Word, PDF, or HTML format. For
other formats, check with Don Schricker.

Relevant technical papers will be available on the web. Time may not permit
presentations at the workshop on all the papers submitted. Those who are
chosen to present their papers will be notified by Friday May 23, 2003.

Everyone is encouraged to attend the presentations at the workshop on June
25, 2003 of the selected papers.

All submitted papers must contain the following:
